| Introduction to Woodshop Power Tools, ($163.00) Class - 7:34PM Duluth Folk School Class being held at DMS. Anyone can sign up at: https://duluthfolkschool.com/events/introduction-to-woodshop-power-tools/ for $163.00 This is a three part class: Nov 4th, 11th, and 18th from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm each evening. Description: Power tools can save time and expand what’s possible in the woodshop, but used improperly, they can also cause mistakes just as quickly. In this three-session class, students will learn the safe and effective use of five core woodworking machines: the table saw, planer, jointer, router, and miter (chop) saw. We’ll focus on shop safety, understanding each tool’s strengths and limitations, and developing good habits for control and consistency. This class is designed as a foundation and confidence-builder, giving students the hands-on experience they need to get comfortable with these tools and prepare for more advanced woodworking projects. Registration Includes: Instruction and all materials are provided. What goes into our class pricing?
